The DX 5557 Copy router is equipped with a single powerful spindle motor routing head that can cut holes or a variety of shapes in aluminum light alloy metal or PVC material on three sides without turning or moving the material. The table can turn to any degree between 0° and 180° degree by electronically controlled servo motor. The DX 5557 is equipped with a variable speed spindle adjusted by inverter and potentiometer which adjust the spindle speed from 1800 to 12000rpm with an optional quick tool change spindle. This router can either copy existing holes or shapes from a fixed template or create new ones. It comes with 2 adjustable copy templates and many additional templates can be added on to the same track to accommodate multiple functions.
